Displays
Displays
Size, application area and durability are some of the parameters guiding the progress in displays, i.e. screen technology. A number of Obducat’s fundamental technologies are well adapted to the patterning of very large areas in a simultaneous process. The ability to manage large areas is central in the manufacture of displays. Obducat has for some time been working with a multinational Japanese enterprise regarding manufacturing of prototype displays. Seeing that OLED technology can increase resolution and intensity, while at the same time lowering the power consumption, this technology holds big expectations for the next few years. In addition flexible displays can be manufactured for entirely new applications.
