The cost-effective total solution for industrial production of nanostructures has resulted in multinational manufacturers with global trademarks selling home electronics produced by the use of Obducat’s technology to customers around the world - as is now current with LED-components.

With the continued advances of nanotechnology follows the growing potential of NIL. It already makes possible the development and cost-effective manufacturing of tomorrow’s products in memory media, displays, semiconductors, biosensors, and parts of the electronics and optocomponents industries. The components that are produced subsequently form an integral part of consumer electronics such as cameras, hard disks, flat panel TVs, and optical memory media (for example Blu-ray). Obducat’s nanoimprint lithography is based on co-operation between the Company’s three product areas: NIL, EBR, and SEM. Research and development form the basis of Obducat’s intellectual property in the form of patents and patent applications. They prevent competitors from infringing on Obducat’s patented technology.
